Books for presentations

Occasionally someone asks if I'm available to do a presentation to their development team on using PMD. Sure! I've done presentations at the NOVAJUG and they seemed to be well received, and having worked on PMD for nearly four years now I've got lots of suggestions/anecdotes/aphorisms.

But at the same time, I've got a full time job and I'd rather not charge for spreading the word about PMD, and it's no fun to go through all the independent contractor paperwork for an hour-long lunch seminar. Instead, I've got a simple "books for presentations" policy that leaves you with a good reference guide and me with a smaller book inventory. Here's how it works:

• Send me an email at tom@infoether.com proposing a date and time
• Once we agree, buy some reasonable number of copies of "PMD Applied" - maybe 8-10 copies, depending on the size of your team.
• I'll show up with a Powerpoint presentation and give a lively talk on code quality, PMD, CPD, static analysis, and whatever else you want me to focus on.
